Excellent Dr. he answered all my questions before surgery, he was patient and informative, he was easy to talk to and made my family feel safe. I would definitely recommend him for any one that needs a prosthetic replacement.

I fractured my elbow extensively during summer 2023- 7/31/23 Dr Afsari (ER orthopedic surgeon at St John Ascension)put me back together fantastically with 2 metal plates etc the next morning The next Springs exam he agreed I could have plate removal surgery early December 2024 which he fulfilled beautifully He is a fabulous surgeon and I felt as at ease as possible throughout the whole time period I hope he is doing knee replacement as my other longtime Dr- a muscle skeletal doctor raised future concerns I may need a good knee job someday Thank you Dr. Alan Afsari!

Dr Afsari Saved my leg after I got hit by a wrong way driver in a horrific car accident almost dying at a young age. You can say he saved my life by the way he put me back together better than Humpty Dumpty. I’m able to walk again months later. He’s been helpful and informative throughout this process of my healing and his referrals have been much appreciated.

Dr Afsari seems very good at what he does. I only saw him once but he assured me that we would get to the bottom of my situation with an MRI.

Dr. Afsari is a very kind and dedicated surgeon. His goal is to make sure once you have surgery and are healed, you will never need to see him again. He is not in it for the money, just the patient and their health.

I was initially referred to the trauma unit by Dr Michaelson at the Core Institute after two failed surgeries on a fracture of my left (dominant) arm that happened from a fall Nov 22, 2021. My 1st visit was January 27, 2025 with Dr Afsari. He said he did hips and would think about who would be best. I was assigned to Dr Fahs and couldn't be happier. He saved my arm and I saw it on the X-rays September 26, 2025. He is a blessing to anyone he crosses paths with. I had long ago given up hope before I met him. I really appreciated that he went over every x-ray in detail.

Dr Adam M Fahs is an excellent surgeon. I had a break in my arm, the humerus bone, and Dr Fahs performed a four hour surgery on it. He explained everything to me before the surgery and I have had two follow up visits since the surgery. I am pleased with the results so far, beyond my expectations. Dr Fahs and his staff are very knowledgeable, kind, caring, and patient. Thank you, Dr Fahs and staff. And a big thank you to all of the medical staff at St John’s Henry Ford Hospital on Moross. They are outstanding.

Dr. Adam Fahs did an excellent job repairing my mom's broken and dislocated ankle. She is 86 and has not had much time in any system and she would tell you, as do I, this guys bedside manner is impeccable and I highly recommend him.

Dr Fahs took the time to talk me through the procedure prior to surgury. Never having surgery before that helped me tremendously. I had broken my humorus in half. Him and the team put me back together the next morning. The anesthesiologist put me out prior to moving me to the table. Thanks guys, I was hurting and they recognized that. I can't say enough about all the Nurses and staff at the hospital for how well they took care of me.

Its been a little over 3 weeks now. Im back at probably 80 plus percent of the movement I had prior. In a month I see myself being back 100%.

Dr Fahs strikes me as very knowledgeable about potential complications for healing my broken arm. When he was told I recently completed a lengthy course of antibiotics he ordered a second set of blood tests that give markers of infection to be performed in a month. I hope to meet with him again to have a detailed explanation of what is going to be done in the surgery that is coming up.

He is a very kind, caring and knowledgeable doctor. I would highly recommend Dr Fahs!!

Great skill excellent follow-up

Dr.Best is a wonderful doctor. He took the time to help me get back to functioning properly after a crash caused me to break my leg. Dr.Best truly takes the time to get to know you, and assist however he can. His bed side manner is impeccable. I would recommend him to any friends or family for Orthopedic needs.

Dr.Best was awesome. He did an amazing job in saving the quality of my son’s leg. He has a right femur break that took only 3-4 months to completely heal. He’s doing great now.

Broke my leg April 2023 and a little over a year later I am back at playing sports, running, etc. with no issues. I felt in good hands from day. X-rays were shared and discussed and I could ask as many questions as I could possibly think of without feeling rushed at any time. I went back for a 2nd surgery to remove one of the screws that appeared to limit my freedom of movement. Instant improvement and speedy recovery. I can recommend Dr. Best - will however agree on some of the comments of his office staff. They appeared a little disoriented and disorganized at times. Yet, this shall not take away of the 5 stars.

Dr. Best was very professional and friendly. He spent time with us and explained everything that we needed to know for treatment. We felt very comfortable with him and his staff. I would highly recommend.
